Lobby Art/Donor Recognition Wall at Sutter Cancer Center in the Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento, California, designed by Amri Studio. The wall features a deep V-carved "River of Life" as the central focus for the community of generous supporters clustered around it. This flowing and curving motif echoes the soft curves of the lobby interiors and the "S" logo of Sutter Health Systems. It uniquely identifies the Sutter Cancer Center and its community, which lie on the juncture of the important Sacramento and American Rivers. Fluorescent valence lit.
The individual V-carved crystal name plaques importantly honor the Donors within the context of the whole artistic "River of Life" presentation. The wall can hold 150-300 plaques with room for updates; plaque sizes run from 4" by 4" to 12" by 12", subtly denoting the Donor's gift level and the importance of their membership in the Center's philanthropic community. The title, appreciation, and poetic inspiration statements are front carved and silver filled, creating a warm and reassuring welcome into the facility.
